The work aims to be a personal and contemporary interpretation of the concept of justice, usually represented blindfolded. My desire to revisit some concepts led me to create a female figure who has the instruments of judgment tied to the wrists: she is no longer the one holding the scale; she “becomes” the scale itself.

“My” Justice is a Latin cross: I wanted to further push the action of judgment towards a more divine concept. The white dress, which wraps around the mirror bronze body, symbolizes the purity and neutrality of who judges. The figure is blind, without pupils: it represents the utopian concept that the law is equal for everyone.

The material used is Sivec white marble: devoid of veins and imperfections, it enhances the symbolic purity of Justice.
