Plaster works
Fragile, heavy and versatile, gypsum is a soft and evaporitic mineral commonly found in many saline sediments. Among its characteristics, this material is fire resistant and being a thermo- and soundproofing insulating, it can be used without aggregate.
Plaster sculptures are a real joy for the touch: the fine and smooth surfaces make this natural material appear refined and elegant.
In sculpture, it is used a lot to make artworks casts and during the process from the clay model to the final work.
