Restoration

Restoring means taking care of and respecting the past. For this reason, when I’m before a stone artifact eroded by time, broken or ruined by neglect, I feel the urge to give my contribution by bringing it back to life, sometimes leaving visible the signs of time and that patina telling us the life and history behind it. Thus, the protagonists of my interventions are columns, wells, marble basins, capitals, altars, bases, bas-reliefs, plaques, coats of arms, statues, vases, chimneys, and cornices.

Through cleaning, restoring missing pieces, rebuilding, and consolidating techniques, every piece is brought back to its original splendor.
